ISAACS offers an accredited Addiction Studies qualification in partnership with and under the supervision of NET Institute in Florida, U.S.A. Accreditation of the certificate is by NET www.netinstitute.org as well as World Federation of Therapeutic Communities www.wftc.org.
Our Background
ISAACS started in Egypt in 2001 and since that time 8 English and 5 Arabic courses have taken place, with over 100 graduates from more than 24 countries. Many of those who have completed the course have gone on to set up pioneering rehab/prevention initiatives and networks in their own countries in Europe, Asia and Africa.
ISAACS is operated by Freedom Drug and HIV Programme, at Wadi El-Natroun (about 85 km from Cairo to Alexandria). Freedom Programme is the first and largest drug rehabilitation programme in Egypt and the Middle East. It is an FBO, part of the ministries of the largest Evangelical (Presbyterian) Church in the Arab region Kasr El-Dobara Evangelical Church.
The course sessions are held inside the main centre which provides a live experience for drug workers in a recovery house.
